NDCC Day 1: Jason the Slug

Blah.  Day 1 of the November 30 day character challenge and I'm already submitting this late!  Sorry for the terrible quality of the scan.

I figured I should start drawing again and the character challenge seemed like a good way to motivate myself.  I'm not going to submit anything to the official website, but you can find it here:  www.30characters.com/

Jason used to be human.  However, one day a faerie caught him pouring salt on slugs, so she cursed him.  Now he is doomed to be a slug forever unless someone gives him a kiss.  He's trying his best to make himself appealing.  He even crawled all the way to the magic pond where people go to kiss frogs, but he's never yet seen anyone kiss a slug.  It's very disheartening.

Jason enjoys eating moss and drawing patterns with his slime.  He misses being able to eat pizza and access the internet.  If he ever regains his human form he plans to move to a big city and avoid setting foot in a forest ever again.

(For his part, Horace the frog is tired of being treated like an object.  He really doesn't understand why humans don't respect his personal boundaries.)
